As a first step the negative terminal of the battery in the car is disconnected perfectly for safety reasons. Antenna jack from your HD radio is connected to the antenna of the car. Do not connect the same to the antenna input of the head unit.
The black coloured wire is connected from the back. A clean and paint less metal location is selected. Wiring has pieces coming with it. The yellow coloured lead is connected to the twelve volts constant supply terminal.The cable is connected to the CD player in your car using the blue coloured connector. This is called as IP BUS cable. The other end is connected to the head unit in the car
